So it took me about 3 weeks to make it, but I finally have all gold plus one plat in ARAM. The question is, what’s next? I’m a goal kinda gal and in truth, though I still love ARAM, I am itching to play Classic again. But I still suck at the meta game…anything after the early lane phase and I am increasingly clueless as to what I should be doing. And I don’t enjoy getting yelled at. But I am a whole helluva lot better at playing all my champs than before I started my ARAM binge, which is a good thing. We’ll see. For now, I am just gonna enjoy arriving at my destination.

Congratulations on making it! Those are some well deserved badges. I think you are being hard on yourself, regarding the meta of the normal game. I hate getting yelled at too, but people who are going to be jerks will be jerks regardless of whether or not you are doing the right thing. The other problem is that everybody seems to have a different idea of what “the right thing” is, and what works in one game won’t always work in the next.
I guess what I’m saying is don’t let your understanding or lack there of discourage you from chasing a goal you want to chase. Just keep having fun with it 😀
Most appreciated! I am itching to start playing Classic again and I feel like my basic understanding of each champ in my closet is pretty rock solid now. I think I am overly sensitive to getting yelled at and should give it another go. My biggest challenge is having the time for the longer matches, but early morning matches are definitely an option (when everyone else at home is still asleep ;-).
Bottom line is I am still having loads of fun, so that’s good.
